Hi Nat! Congratulations on the move! You’re not moving here to Michigan, are you? I feel like I know you, and you, Nick, and the girls would be so fun to hang out with. I’m all about the endings this month. I’ve been in therapy for a problem with my lymphatic system for a few months now, and I am so over it. I am so sick of other people’s hands on me I can’t even explain it. My mother…not so much. She enjoys helping me with my therapy way too much. I love my mother, but I feel like telling her to go get a hobby. I also moved my woodcarving office upstairs, out of the dark basement my dad set me up in. Funny you mentioned a toxic friendship. I let go of one of those in February, and I’m still reveling in it. She was never really “me.” I know longer want to be a people pleaser, always doing what I’m told. People pleasing helped me in the past because it saved me a lot of drama, but no more. I used to let my mom and dad take care of everything for me, but it never really let me grow up. I’ve felt some definite ickiness since my arm injury, with other people constantly messing with my arm. I’m so over it. I’ve always been called “independently inclined” by my doctors, and it’s time to get back to that. Happy April and good luck with the move!

This podcast is so powerful. Having had the fortune of working with you one-on-one as a student these questions are that much more profound. You have helped create a powerful map of my life so I can now see where I am going. Because of your guidance so far I could answer these questions with absolute clarity. The picture of the life that I am attracting is becoming so clear. These questions where like the one or two pieces you just couldn’t find when building a 1,000 piece puzzle and I just found them. The puzzle is starting to flow. -
Me again. I should wait a few days to see how the month is going to comment. A huge letting go happened the day before yesterday. I got my hair cut and colored by a hairdresser friend, and not only do I hate the color, but I realized that I will never really fit in with her “crowd” and I should stop twisting myself into a pretzel trying. I asked her if she wanted to hang out sometime, and of course, she’s “really busy right now.” I no longer want to be the insecure, unpopular girl begging for companionship. I also don’t want to be the person who settles for stuff she doesn’t like (like my half-assed highlights job that I hate), and gets up and takes care of it herself. There are ways to do boliage (the “in” hair trend right now) at home all by myself, and I need to learn them. I want to be that girl who is happy by herself, knows who her real friends are, and doesn’t have to beg to hang out with the “cool kids.” Thank you for helping me realize that.
