When your partner isn’t on the spiritual path… (and it sucks!)

What if, as you deepen your relationship with your spiritual life, you run into resistance from your partner? What do you do? How do you maintain momentum and magic, when you got a muggle in the midst? lol.

In this episode, I am going to share with you:

  • Why this is such a common block for heart-centered souls who are ready to go to that next-level in their lives
  • The three most common stories that hold us back around having non-spiritual partners, and how to magically reframe them
  • The profound, deeper reason that this is happening in your relationship (this will blow your mind!)
  • And my top 2 tips of what to do to thrive spiritually, even if a loved one isn’t on board

This is 100% for you, if you are in love with someone who isn’t walking the spiritual path… and man it feels so hard.

Notes from the episode:

Neutralize the most common limiting stories:

Old story #1) There is something wrong with my partner or my relationship if we are not on the spiritual path together.

New story #1) It is okay to have differences.

Old story #2) Having a spiritual partner would make my life so much easier.

New story #2) Having a loving, respectful partner is what makes life easier!

Old story #3) If I pursue my own spiritual path, I will lose them.

New story #3) It is possible to pursue my own spiritual path, and grow in intimacy and bond with my partner.

The Magical Solution/Deeper Reason:

You are being called to be a spiritual leader of your own life, and possibly of your marriage/partnership/family.

Top tips to become the spiritual leader of your own life:

Tip #1) Identify the need behind this desire for a spiritual partner. What would this do for you? And what if there was a way to give that to yourself first, without changing your partner?

Tip #2) Embody being the spiritual leader now, in everyday life, even if it’s messy. Get to work being it, living from it and deepening it in your own life.

By doing the mindset, belief and embodiment work above, you will realize… this is a calling, not a misfortune.

Hey, I don‘t have a partner and my spirituality has never been an issue in relationships or friendships or partnerships in general. How should I read your podcast then; what‘s April going to be about for people like me – single spiritual warriors? 😳
And: thank you for your spiritual leadership and guidance – I love your podcast and am looking forward for it every month! ✨🙏🏻✨

I totally get it, Christine! This year, I am going to be covering common issues I run into with clients under the umbrella of this 7 Universal Year (2023/spirituality), and inspired by the month (April is an 11/2, which is in part about relationship and spiritual leadership). So each monthly episode might not be for everyone. If you want something specific to you, I highly recommend Christine Delorey’s website: https://creativenumerology.com/monthly-forecast-april-2023/. I hope that helps! 😉

  • Hi Nat and. Christine,
I want to share my comment here because of my first REaction to Nat (on Instagram) after having read the topic…because I am single too. Well so I had two options. The first one I initially thought about in my lets call it “frustration” (since the inspirational monthly podcast is something I looked out for every month since Episode 66) was to skip this Episode. And the second one was to move beyond my “frustration” and listen to it anyway, seeing what it could bring me. Luckily I chose this 2nd one and continued to find the real magic in it, simply by replacing the words “partner, spouse, etc.” by “the people who are important to me”.
And so I am grateful to you again Nat, for a wonderful monthly podcast…
I was specifically inspired by your last tip (living by example).
    THANK YOU 🙏🏻 😊

Thanks, Phil! These tips definitely apply to any loved one who isn’t on that same spiritual path. <3

I have to share Christine’s thoughts. I don’t have a partner. The object of my affection is exactly like me. I miss your old format where you dove deeper into the number of each month.

Totally get it! If you guys find another Numerologist that does monthly forecasts let me know and I will share it. 😉

  • I highly recommend to go beyond natural and 1st-reflex scepticism, reluctance, doubt etc. and to be open to Nat’s new format. Let’s be creative instead of reactive and sticking to old habits and “what was”. . It’s made of the same characters by the way 😉.

Hi. I was so pleased to see the first comment by Christine.
I am not in a relationship either. A relationship for me, whether the other person is spiritual or not, goes against my grain. I feel my decision to be single is one of the most important decisions I’ve made on my spiritual journey.
I have to admit I haven’t listened to the whole episode, Nat. And, I was disappointed in the topic. So I hesitated until now to even give it a shot.
I’m sure the subject matter wont always resonate, but all of your episodes did until lately. If 11/2 is about Spiritual Leadership? Yes, please!
However, when I do relate and receive I really relate and receive.
One of my biggest takeaways, also is watching your evolution and growth in your business. It lets me know I can grow and change, too.
Thank you for the referral to Christine’s website.

I am still so grateful for these podcasts. Thank you, Nat. April was a rough month – and this podcast gave me some tools that are helping significantly to save my marriage, and I am not exaggerating. I am particularly using the advice that it may be my calling to be the spiritual leader in my marriage. It’s helpful to consider that reframe and is helping me to step into my leadership role with honor instead of resenting it or my husband and his muggle ways – that I really love by the way – along with his personal struggles. I think for me the easy path might be to jump ship and connect with a spiritual guy who gets my spiritual ways, but that’s not me and that’s not what I think I actually want. Thank you for showing me how to value honor and be what’s missing.
